Our menu consist of many different and slightly smaler size disches where you as a guest can choose and put together your meny for the evening.
As we have a great respect and love for food and its origin, we follow the seasons and our desire is to convey genuine, authentic and sustainable cooking in every bite.
In our opinion, this can only happen if everything is prepared from scratch and by taking care of all parts of the product. At JH matbar you will find everything from home made butter, funds and of course our beloved ice creams!
PS! Of course we can offer vegetarian and vegan dishes, no matter how many you want to eat!
Even when it comes to beverage, we like to work with Swedish and local producers. You will find everything from Swedish beer, spirits, cider and must to other fun stuff.
When it comes to wine, we take a step away from Sweden and local thinking, but stick to smaller producers and different suppliers. This allows us to be extremely flexible whit our wine selection, both in bottles and glasses. Just like our à la carte menu, our wine menu is varied and changes frequently.
After several years in the industry, we decided that the only posible next step was to have our own restaurant.
With JH matbar we want to create a relaxing restaurant without white tablecloths and classical music but with a high focus on good food and drinks with genuine ingredients and a lot of love!
As both the food and beverage menu is constantly changing based on indridients and seasons, we hope that you always will find something new with us.
In other words we want to create the kind of "modern neighborhood restaurant" that we ourselves want to go to!
We who are behind JH matbar are named Christoffer and Malin and together with our staff we wish you a warm welcome!

Between 17:30-01:00 we respond to emails as time allows and we are not busy taking care of our guests.
